ABOUT AMRAPALI JAIPUR
Amrapali Jewels is a global, luxury jewelry brand based in Jaipur, India. Founded in 1978 by Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera, two friends inspired by their deep reverence for India's tribal jewelry and artifacts. They opened their first shop in Jaipur, and named it Amrapali, after a legendary Indian courtesan who was famed to be the most beautiful woman in the world. Four decades later, Amrapali has 38 locations throughout India; and in London, a flagship store in Knightsbridge as well as shop-in-shops at both Harrods and Selfridges. Today, Amrapali's future remains with the family, as Rajiv's son Tarang Arora and his wife Akanksha Arora are Co-CEO and Creative Directors. It is one of India's most prolific jewelers and its influence is increasingly sweeping the West, with a growing presence in the United States. Amrapali's tradition of blending honored heritage with modern design continues with the launch of Legend Amrapali.

ABOUT LEGEND AMRAPALI
Inspired by the rich culture and heritage of India, Legend Amrapali is a new contemporary, modern line of fine jewelry within the world of Amrapali Jewels. From breathtaking 18k yellow gold statement pieces, to big and bold pieces in sterling silver, the collection is chic and modern for everyday easy elegance. Petite stackable silhouettes and diamond solitaire pieces set in a traditional stone setting technique called Kundan capture a more traditional Indian look and feel. Bold hero pieces featured on raw surfaces symbolize the harmonious blending of rich history and tradition with new, modern ways. Prominent references to the Lotus, revered as the flower of India, can be seen throughout the collections, as well as immortalized in the Legend Amrapali logo. Legend Amrapali's Indian influence is also visible in its powerful, visceral campaign imagery of the legendary Indian courtesan, Amrapali, who expressed ethereal beauty and grace through dance.
Historical Background
The inspiration to start Amrapali Jewellery was the fascination that Rajiv Arora and Rajesh Ajmera held for ancient India, as it was the focus of their graduate studies.
